I'm that friend who always finds the thing.

Mam to two girls, primary school teacher, and permanently in the thick of it ..... communions, christenings, confirmations, hens, weddings... the list goes on. You know how it goes. Feast or famine. Either you need nothing for months, or suddenly you need four outfits at once and you're panic-buying something you'll wear once and never look at again.

Awhile ago my career took a turn and my whole wardrobe had to change with it. I went from tracksuits to professional overnight. It could have cost a fortune. Instead, I went second-hand — and I never looked back.

Second-hand fashion isn't the fallback option anymore. It's the smart one. It saves money. It's sustainable. And honestly? It lets you take risks you'd never take at full price.

Now my friends have a running joke at my expense. They see an outfit they like. They ask where I got it. And before I can answer, they finish the sentence for me.

"...Vinted, yeah, we know."

The thing is they'd love to do the same. But they don't have the time. They don't have the patience for the scrolling, the filtering, the back-and-forth with sellers. They just want the outfit.
